The owner of the Bridgnorth Cliff Railway has yet to sign legal documents to allow continued work to repair a damaged retaining wall that saw the attraction close before Christmas, the town council has said.

Malvern Tipping with Cliff Railway engineer Barry Evans inspecting the retaining wall last month The damaged wall led to closure of the funicular railway in the Shropshire market town in December on health and safety ground.
