Conservative MP for South Shropshire, Stuart Anderson, has expressed support for a campaign to renovate the dilapidated New Market Hall in Bridgnorth. The petition, initiated by Huw Rees, has garnered over a thousand signatures, triggering a council debate on its future. Residents envision the historic structure as a community hub, library, food hall, or theatre. The building, currently owned by an absentee landlord, has suffered from neglect for over a decade.
