Filmmaker James Gunn has given fans a Brightburn 2 update after being asked about when the anticipated sequel is coming.
Gunn gave a disappointing response, stating that there are “no plans at all” for the sequel to get made right now. He was then asked if he would let another director take on Brightburn 2, to which he confirmed that he didn’t write or direct the first movie, as he only produced it.BrightBurn was directed by David Yarovesky and written by Mark Gunn and Brian Gunn. Elizabeth Banks starred in the film alongside David Denman , Jackson A. Dunn , Matt Jones and Meredith Hagner .
