Brighton are reported to be looking to secure a bargain deal to sign Liverpool man Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is at something of a career crossroads after injuries have limited him to just ten appearances this season, totalling just 449 minutes on the pitch.The Seagulls are looking for a replacement for Leandro Trossard, who joined Arsenal this month Now 29 years of age, Oxlade-Chamberlain has a big decision to make over the next step in his career with uncertainty over both his short and long-term future.
The midfielder has just six months remaining on his contract at Anfield, meaning that he can discuss terms over a free transfer to a non-English side this month., Brighton are prepared to offer Oxlade-Chamberlain a career lifeline, but only if he is available for nothing.With the former England international currently on £120,000-per-week, Liverpool would be open to letting the player leave the club this month.
Oxlade-Chamberlain moved to Liverpool from Arsenal back in the summer of 2017, joining for a fee of £35million.
