As cold weather sets in, households may already notice signs of the pesky spores emerging.
If you've ever struggled with mould and are worried about having to deal with it this autumn, one item has been hailed as the best way to banish it.
Followers of the cleaning influencer have come to the rescue once again on the Mrs Hinch Tips and Tricks Facebook page. And according to cleaning fans, the product is "brilliant" at removing mould in no time at all. One person said: "Absolutely brilliant this stuff. My bathroom was shocking, really thought it was going to have to be ripped out. £6 later, wow, it's like I have a new bathroom, I had the full bathroom done in the half hour it's very fast and effective."
One of the best ways to prevent mould from returning once you've cleaned it away is to control the amount of humidity in your home. The bathroom is one of the most humid areas of the house, but you can tackle this problem by cleaning regularly as well as making sure the room is properly ventilated - by opening a window or using an extractor fan.
Dealing with the problem can be made a lot easier with certain household tools, and a Kärcher window vac that's said to "keep mould away" at a "low cost" is currently on sale on the Amazon website.
