Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty has called for the return of TV show Superstars so all the champions of the Tokyo Games can compete against each other at"multiple disciplines".and became the first British swimmer to successfully defend an Olympic title.

Peaty used Twitter to appeal for the return of Superstars, a programme which first aired in the UK in the 1970s and sees athletes from across the sporting spectrum compete against each other. He wrote:"We need to bring back superstars, put all the Olympic champions together and see who wins out of the multiple disciplines."
