A gaffe happened in a private email exchange as Bristol Rovers clarified the details of a new electronic season ticket system coming in next season.

Bristol Rovers has issued a grovelling apology after sending an email to supporters referring to 'disabled fans and normal fans'.

The gaffe happened in a private email exchange as the club clarified the details of a new electronic season ticket system coming in next season Jake Barber said: 'I'm a disabled man. Just because I no longer use a wheelchair doesn't mean I'm not. 'I don't think they meant any harm. I'd like to think they didn't mean any harm, but like I said just because you're not in a wheelchair, doesn't mean that you don't need access to disabled facilities or help like that. I just think the club have worded that awfully, so do better' he added, in a video message.
