The 41-year-old former Manchester City, Newcastle and England midfielder led the club to promotion on the final day of his first full season in charge.Fellow coaches Glenn Whelan, Danny Ventre and Anssi Jaakkola will support Mangan with their first game in charge at home to Northampton on Saturday. Barton moved to the Memorial Stadium in February 2021 having previously had a spell in charge of Fleetwood Town.
