Sound World produced an album during the pandemic and two singles from it will be performed live.
Dame Evelyn Glennie drew on her own experiences of lockdown to compose The Grace of Silence, which will be performed live for the first time by the Sound World bandA live premiere of two singles produced by a charity that supported musicians during the coronavirus pandemic is to be performed in Bristol.
"We already do a great deal of work in education, going into disadvantaged schools, where they don't really have much music and doing workshops to help the best young composers," said Mr Leeks. The lockdown project started in 2020 when Covid-19 wiped-out paid working opportunities for many self-employed musicians.
