Detectives investigating the murder of British estate agent Chris Cleave, 54, ifrom Truro, Cornwall, n Mexico are linking his killing to that of his business partner Vitaly Feygin, 57, last year.
EXCLUSIVE: Chris Cleave, 54, was shot in the head while he was driving his red Audi around the Mexican resort of Playa del Carmen, Cancun, on Saturday. The estate agent, originally from Truro, Cornwall, was executed in front of his 14-yearold daughter, who was also shot twice, but survived and is recovering with her mother.
Both men are understood to have been murdered shortly after resisting demands from a drugs gang to pay extortion money for being left alone to run a restuarant that they ran in Playa del Carmen. Two local men have been arrested on suspicion of murder by police probing Mr Cleave's death : 30-year-old Jose Guadalupe and Leni Vladamir, who is aged 17.
