BRITISH tourists in Spain will be forced to quarantine for two weeks when they return home after a major coronavirus outbreak in the country, reports claim.
The paper's political editor, Tim Shipman, said on Twitter: "Govt to announce shortly that tourists in Spain will have to quarantine for two weeks when they return .Holiday operator TUI has already announced it would cancel all planned holidays in Spain in response to the announcement. Droves of Brits have already flocked to the holiday hotspot, but they now risk being forced to undergo border measures on their return.Spain has been hit with a fresh coronavirus outbreakSeveral Spanish regions, including Catalonia and Madrid, have seen huge spikes in the number of new cases, sparking fears of a second wave.
