EVERY morning when I wake, the first thing I do is check to see how Boris is doing. And when they say: 'He's in good spirits' or 'He's chatting to nursing staff', I feel I can breathe a little easier.
So when the news came he'd left intensive care and was now on a ward I did a little happy dance in my living room - because Boris's health matters to me. And I believe it matters to the British people. I have never met Boris. But his wellbeing, his survival, feels personal to me, and I'm sure to you. And it never ceases to amaze me how some in the mainstream media don't have a clue how people feel about him. Why so many feel connected to him. Why so many voted for him.
