THE British Council is thrilled to announce the opening of applications for its Connections Through Culture arts grants, a £700,000 grant program designed to foster artistic and cultural collaborations between the United Kingdom and Asia Pacific countries, including the Philippines.Applicants in the Philippines can apply for grants of up to £10,000 or P740,000 for projects that enable genuine international collaboration between the UK and Asia Pacific countries.
Projects supported by the Connections Through Culture Grants must include at least one UK-based applicant and one applicant based in the Philippines.Andrei Nikolai Pamintuan, British Council in the Philippines head of Arts, shares: 'Last year's projects engaged with diverse communities through multi-art form interventions, highlighting how artists respond to the world around them.
