British woman crushed to death in front of boyfriend in horror quad bike crash
A BRITISH female quad biker was crushed to death after she crashed while racing on a slope dubbed “Killer Hill” in Romania.
Her partner Richard Freestone, who had accompanied her on the trip to Romania, called her a "true Yorkshire lass full of passion and love".In a heartbreaking tribute on Facebook, he wrote: "Katie was a true Yorkshire lass full of passion and love, who always lived life to the full and made new friends wherever she went.
The race was abandoned with fellow competitors later hailing her "as the most determined and committed rider out there".
