Geo, known as @geoinspain on TikTok, moved to Spain six years ago and says there are three reasons she'd never return to the UK
Ditching the dreary British weather and high living costs for sunnier skies and a relaxed lifestyle overseas has crossed many people's minds. This aspiration was achieved by one woman who acknowledges that moving to Spain six years ago was among her best life choices.
Geo admits suffering "reverse culture shock" each time she revisits the UK, recognising that the appeal lies not only in climate, but also in the easy Spanish way of life. She added: "Whether it's going for a drink, or going for a coffee, or going for breakfast - there's always things to do during the week and at the weekends. Also, in the mornings, people who you don't even know say good morning to you, which I just think is such a nice way to start the day."
Geo said: "I know prices have increased everywhere, but it's so expensive now, and having this on your doorstep for a lot cheaper of a price is just a no-brainer. There's always something to do here, and you really don't have to spend a lot of money.
