Brits have named the Scottish Fold as the ‘top cat’ in a new study by Burns Pet Nutrition. The little-eared cats topped a poll of pet owners who said they were the most intelligent , most affectionate and the easiest to train compared with other breeds.
Ragdoll cats, known for their love of being held and cuddled, were a close second with 56% of Brits saying they were the most affectionate, ahead of Maine Coons at 46%. Eight in 10 owners of the three-coloured cats say they respond to instructions the best, and half saying they are incredibly affectionate. One in four tabby owners claim their pet is more cuddly than other coloured cats, while 85% say they are the easiest to train.
