BRITS could bake in record-breaking temperatures this Bank Holiday weekend as a heatwave sweeps the country.
Chief Meteorologist, Andy Page said: “This weekend sees a change for many with a return of high temperatures and sunshine. “Unfortunately, as the temperature rises so can the chances of a breakdown – so it’s important drivers check over their vehicle before setting out. Bank Holiday traffic saw drivers stuck in 24-mile queues yesterday – and there could be more travel misery this weekend.
