The Office for Product Safety and Standards has issued a recall for the Pro Breeze 2L Air Fryer, warning that a technical fault could cause it to catch fire
British officials have sounded the alarm on a dangerous air fryer that poses a fire risk. The Office for Product Safety and Standards has urgently called on users to cease using the Pro Breeze 2L Air Fryer immediately due to a technical issue that may lead to it overheating and potentially catching fire. The suspect air fryer, readily available on Amazon, has been flagged for not meeting the Electrical Equipment Regulations 2016 requirements.
Pro Breeze wants those who've purchased the item to immediately disconnect it from power and return it asap. The Office for Product Safety outlined in their warning that the air fryer "presents a risk of fire as it is possible for the internal components to overheat and ignite", reports the Mirror.
