Two-time NHRA Top Fuel champion Brittany Force will be returning to racing at the NHRA Northwest Nationals in Kent, Washington.
Brittany Force, two-time NHRA Top Fuel champion, has announced she will be returning to racing at the imminent NHRA Northwest Nationals in Kent, Washington. Brittany had skipped the last race in Norwalk, Ohio, attending to her father, John Force, after he suffered a traumatic brain injury during a harrowing crash in Virginia in June. John Force, a revered figure in Funny Car racing, is currently recovering in a rehabilitation facility, showing signs of significant progress.
He has transferred now to a rehabilitation center closer to home.'I want to thank David Grubnic, John Collins and my team for their patience and support of my decision to stay with my father while racing continued in Norwalk. Missing a race was tough, but I needed to be with my dad and family.'Brittany added:'I'm proud to be running our Flav-R-Pac dragster this weekend to honor our longtime partner, Frank Tiegs.
