Brody, 41, recalled his mother Linda Thompson telling him that, as a child, he 'would write on cards,"Why doesn't dad call me on my birthday?"' 'Just recently, I got a real, sincere apology,' he said of Caitlyn. 'It was the first time in my life that I've ever gotten an apology. You know, I'm sorry for not being there, and honestly, it meant a lot.'
But he was optimistic that his future with Honey and his newfound devotion to family, which he thought would make him a 'better father.'
