New Orleans Saints offensive tackle Calvin Throckmorton after an NFL preseason football game against the Houston Texans, Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023.signed backup offensive guard Calvin Throckmorton to a one-year, $1.055 million contract, a source told 9NEWS. Throckmorton has $150,000 of his salary guaranteed and can make another $200,000 in play-time incentives.
At Oregon, Throckmorton graduated with a degree in human physiology yet found time to start 52 consecutive games at four different offensive line positions - right tackle , left tackle , center and right guard .
