The Denver Broncos have secured a big hire for the front office, by bringing on the former head coach for Stanford.

The Denver Broncos have made a significant move, adding a new addition to their front office. The team announced they are hiring former Stanford head coach David Shaw as a senior personnel executive. Broncos general manager George Paton brought in Shaw, who will now help to evaluate college and professional talent.

During his time with the school, he racked up four Pac-12 Coach of the Year honors, a 2017 Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year honor, and is the winningest coach in Stanford's history since stepping down after 2022.Despite not landing a head coaching position with the NFL, Shaw might now be able to work his way up the ranks in personnel, and might eventually end up serving in a general manager role if his impact is felt by the Broncos organization.
