Police said an alleged firearms discharge took place in Oldham on Wednesday evening
Two brothers have been charged with attempted murder following a suspected shooting in Oldham earlier this week.
Daniel Whelan, 31, of Unsworth Way, and Alex Whelan, 26, of Great Gable Close have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court on Monday .They have both been charged with attempted murder and an offence under the Firearms Act. No injuries were reported at the scene.
