Browns defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz didn't hold back in speaking about Cleveland's wild card loss to Houston.
Following a loss in the playoffs last season, the Cleveland Browns will enter the 2024 year looking for some redemption. The Browns went through multiple injuries during the year but still managed to win 11 games. They clinched a spot in the postseason as a wild-card team but fell on the road to the upstart Houston Texans. The Texans dominated the Browns by a score of 45-14, despite Cleveland only being down by three after the first quarter. Houston took control from there and never looked back.
'And I thought for the most part of last year, we did a really good job of that, and in that game, we missed an interception fairly early in the game and it just seemed like we were pressing and guys played a little bit out of character instead of just doing their job with physical toughness and effort and some personality, all of a sudden we played a little bit out of character,' Schwartz continued.Schwartz didn't call his best game but the players also underperformed.
