Organisers of the annual Golden Raspberry Awards said it was 'not appropriate' to award gongs to those whose medical conditions may have affected their performances.
"If someone's medical condition is a factor in their decision making and/or their performance, we acknowledge that it is not appropriate to give them a Razzie."What is aphasia?
People with aphasia may make mistakes with the words they use, perhaps using the wrong word, using the wrong sounds in a word, or putting words together incorrectly. A stroke is the most common cause of aphasia, but it can also result from a severe head injury, a brain tumour or progressive neurological conditions, such as dementia.
