Devaney, who celebrated his 17th birthday in June, was rewarded with his first professional contract at Old Trafford in July. The holding midfielder is very highly-rated and has already featured for the Under-21s in the Premier League 2 this season, as well as starting the United youngsters' 3-2 win over Barnsley in the EFL Trophy last month.
"I said, 'Well, what happened then?' He said, 'Well, Bruno Fernandes came up to me and introduced me to everyone'. You know what they're like; they're 16 and 17.
