Bruno Tolioli smashes golden buzzer in middle of dance act in BGT series first
As Britain’s Got Talent returned to our screens on Saturday night for the 16th series, another exciting batch of contestants were keen to impress the show judges and perhaps win a chance to perform for King Charles at the Royal Variety Performance.
During the eighth act of the night, Ghetto Kids, a group of children aged between 5 and 13 had flown in especially from Uganda to show their amazing dance moves to the judges. Simon then informed Bruno that normally the golden buzzer is pushed at the end of the performance, not during in it, prompting the larger than life character to suddenly realise his gaffe.
A second viewer also agreed, as they added: "The Ghetto Kids could win this. Easily the best dance act since Diversity. Bruno Tonioli has picked one hell of a Golden Buzzer."
