CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Candidates in the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE) in this city pledged on Saturday, September 16, to follow the rules and signed a covenant for a safe, peaceful, and orderly elections on October 30.

CANDIDATES in the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections in Cagayan de Oro recite the integrity pledge during the signing of a covenant in Kiosko Kagawasan, Divisoria, Cagayan de Oro City, on Saturday, September 16.

Roberto Villaluz, lay coordinator of the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting , who attended the event, expressed hope that all BSKE candidates will take all the things in the integrity pledge to heart as he said “winning is more victorious if they go through in a peaceful and orderly election.

FORMER Cagayan de Oro City Vice Mayor Rainer Joaquin Uy, who is running for chairman of Barangay Carmen, signs a covenant for a peaceful elections in Kiosko Kagawasan, Divisoria, Cagayan de Oro City, on Saturday, September 16.
