As BTec Level 2 results are out on the same day as GCSE results, we take a look at how the grades match up
Around 200,000 students will receive their results for BTec Tech Awards, BTec Firsts and BTec Level 2 technical courses.but are specialist work-related qualifications available in a range of sectors such as business, engineering and ICT.available in 16 sectors, ranging from Applied Science to Public and Uniformed Service.

More than a fifth of UK GCSE entries were awarded the top grades – at least a 7 or an A grade – this year. This was down 0.2 percentage points on last year, when 22. per cent of entries achieved the top grades.
