But some ARMYs were disappointed with the boys’ hair

Mattel have given us the first look at the BTS doll collection – but not all the reaction has been good.giving us a look at RM’s dimple in doll formIn a picture showing the dolls lined up on stage, V, Suga, Jin, J-Hope, Jungkook, Jimin and RM are seen rocking brightly coloured hair and outfits inspired by the music video for IDOL.

All in all, we reckon the dolls are pretty good – they’re at least recognisable as the idols they’re representing – but there was quite a bit of criticism about the guys’ hair not being as spot on as they would like. However, we all know the ARMY is one devoted fanbase – and many ARMYs defended Mattel for making dolls of their boys for $19.99 each.

And summing up the mood of many fans was an ARMY writing: ‘Can yall stop being rude under their replies THIS AINT IT. Dolls arent my thing, but its either you leave nice or constructive criticism OR DONT LEAVE ANY REPLIES AT ALL pls. We are ARMYs, the face of bangtan, we aren’t spoiled brats.’ Others complimented the dolls on their facial features and outfits, while others pointed out how revolutionary it was to have male dolls wearing make-up.Criticism or not, we reckon these babies will fly off the shelves.

, will be $19.99 each, so ARMYs had better decide their bias or they’ll have to splash out $140 for the set.
