Kevin Wilkin has insisted that his AFC Telford United side are no strangers to pressure ahead of their meeting with table-toppers Kettering Town this evening.
The Poppies have enjoyed a stunning start to the season, sitting top of the Southern Central Premier after a seven-game winning streak, as well as reaching the second round of the FA Cup.
“I think they’re similarly adaptable to ourselves, which you can be when you’ve got so many players that have played at a higher level in their group,” Wilkin said. “There will be big expectations on both sides, but for us that’s no different to where we always find ourselves." “We just need to go out and understand our own strengths, because if we work hard together we can get through these games, there’s no doubt about it.
