BRTISH CYCLING’S City Academies have announced the summer dates for free bike skills sessions for kids, in a bid to keep London’s children active during the school holidays despite the cost of living crisis. A vital part of the City Academies strategy is the recruitment of more coaches from London’s diverse communities in order to help the city’s children see cycling role models that better reflect them, and demonstrate more of the potential career opportunities available to children from all backgrounds who enjoy cycling.
