North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un has doled out some pretty harsh punishment on some workers and their bosses for failing to construct his showpiece hospital on time.

But things did not go to plan, with Kim criticising project chiefs for being ‘careless’ just four months after construction began.Now, almost two years after the original deadline, the hospital is still not finished and Kim is handing out labour sentences. But the camp was last year repurposed as a prison specifically for senior officials and people working on classified projects.
They reportedly discovered a ‘serious shortage of rebars’ at the building site in April and ‘someone had to be held responsible’.It was already clear by July 2020 the hospital would be delayed
