A BUNGLING bank robber's demands for cash were foiled because cashiers couldn't read his handwriting.
Last night balding Slattery was starting a four-year jail sentence and will have to serve an extra two years on licence following the three hold-ups in Hastings and Eastbourne. A spokesman for Sussex Police said Slattery entered three banks in the space of two weeks and used handwritten notes to ask the cashiers to hand over money.
