The first Redbank Plains store caught fire at 1.20pm and the second store was on fore about 50 minutes later.

Two outlets of the same burger chain have been set alight within an hour of each other in Brisbane's north and south.

The chain Grubbies Burgers & Hawaiian BBQ had two of their shops in Redbank Plains and Strathpine set alight overnight. The first Redbank Plains store caught fire at 1.20am and the second store was on fire about 50 minutes later.Burger chain owner Ben told 9News he was devastated at what had happened."I'm a little bit emotional," Ben said.

"I got home from work last night about midnight and got a call at 1am that there was a break-in at our store so I rushed down here," he said.Burger chain own Ben told 9News he was devastated at what had happened."I don't know what we did to deserve something like this".
