Burger King launches new plant-based burger called the 'Rebel Whopper' in the UK. 🍔😋
BURGER King has hopped on the plant-based bandwagon once again by launching its meat-free "Rebel Whopper" burger in the UK.
The sandwich is available to users of the Burger King app from today, before it rolls out nationwide for everybody to enjoy on January 8.If you don't want to wait, simply download the free app and show the voucher at the till to buy your burger. The Rebel Whopper consists of a patty made from soy, and is then topped off with tomatoes, lettuce, ketchup, pickles, and sliced white onion on a sesame seed bun.
Sadly, the meal as a whole is not completely vegan because there is mayonnaise in the bun, and it is cooked on the same grill as the classic Whopper burgers.It was, but is now also launching in the UK. If you're watching over your waistline, you'll want to know that each burger comes with 596 calories.
