Nigerian rapper Burna Boy was forced to end his set at the Greater Lagos Countdown 2025 early after a fan climbed onto the stage and ran towards him. The incident occurred despite Burna Boy extending his performance from 10 minutes to almost an hour.
A world-famous rapper cut a festival show short after fans rushed the stage. Burna Boy was videoed walking off stage during his set at the Greater Lagos Countdown 2025 after a man was seen climbing onto the stage and running towards him. Footage from the New Year’s Eve event showed the man diving towards the rapper, 33, before Burna Boy , real name Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR, kicked out at him.
A third man intervened pushing the fan towards the crowd as he jumped off the platform, but shortly after the incident, Burna Boy walked off the stage.
