Two separate bus crashes in Glasgow and Kilmarnock earlier this month have resulted in legal action against the responsible bus companies.

Eight people were injured when a double-decker bus crash ed into a railway bridge on Cook Street in Tradeston on December 14th. One person was left in a critical condition. A similar incident occurred on December 19th in Kilmarnock, where a Stagecoach bus lost its roof after hitting a railway bridge, injuring eight passengers, including a number of school children.
A 34-year-old man has since been charged in connection with a road traffic offence.
