Dozens of students and the bus driver were stuck in the vehicle after it collided with a car that had gone through a red light.
Video has been released showing the moment a school bus overturned in the US state of Ohio.
The school bus collided with a car that had failed to stop at a red light at the intersection between State Route 13 and State Route 204. The footage, released by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, shows the 25 students thrown onto the ceiling of the bus after the crash. The bus driver 74-year-old Danny Hupp can be heard calmly telling them to escape through windows and the emergency exit if they can.Eight students and Mr Hupp were taken to hospital after the December crash. But their injuries were not life-threatening.
The driver of the car, Joseph Thornton, 42, was taken to hospital with serious injuries and troopers said he had been driving on a suspended licence.
