During their investigation, SPCA officials discovered that those birds were being fed to the four dogs found inside the vehicle. Eastern Adams Regional Police, who called for the assistance of Adams County SPCA, said the driver of the bus, Shawn Hirschbine, was arrested for an outstanding warrant in West Virginia.
At this time, Hirschbine is currently being held at the Adams County Prison awaiting extradition back to West Virginia.
