The 216 was travelling on Ashton Road in Droylsden
A commuter said they were left covered in glass after a brick was thrown at a bus travelling through Droylsden. The 216 service from Manchester Piccadilly had to stop after a window was smashed by the projectile on Thursday evening .
The object was launched at a bus while it was on the move along Ashton Road, near to St Mary's Church, in Droylsden."We were just driving through Droylsden and I was sitting on my phone as usual." Said the passenger who preferred to remain anonymous. "I'm pretty resilient about these sorts of things but it hasn't bothered me all too much. I just won't sit in that seat again."
