'We are devastated for all the neighbouring businesses in Sugar Island and Newry impacted by the floods'
Local businesses have been left damaged and forced to close on Tuesday after extreme flooding in Co Down.
Local ice cream chain Nugelato has been left "heartbroken" by the damage inflicted on their Sugar Island location. "We will keep all our loyal Newry customers updated and endeavour to do what we can for our wee shop." "As soon as we get into the shop we will be in touch to reschedule fittings or collections if that is required."
Newry Business Improvement District is offering its services to impacted businesses by offering sandbags and canoes for those needing access to their stores or units.
