A busy road in Hamilton is set to close to allow 'major works' to take place this weekend.
The local authority said carriageway patching works will take place from the road's junctions with Motherwell Road Roundabout up to and including Muir Street Roundabout.
It will be carried out in four phases between 9pm each night and 6am the following morning, with the road being closed during the works.
