Lib Dem Jane Dodds wins seat in Brecon by-election – meaning Boris Johnson’s majority is slashed to one
A REMAINER Lib Dem won the Brecon by-election this morning - a blow to Boris Johnson whose majority is now slashed to ONE.
After topping the Tories by 1,425 votes, Ms Dodds said: "The people of this constituency have chosen hope over fear. We demand better." The by-election was called following the sacking of Tory MP Chris Davies last month after 10,000 voters signed a recall petition. The recall petition was triggered after Mr Davies was convicted in March after he admitted submitting two false expenses invoices for nine photographs costing £700 to decorate his new office.
