Who will be the next to represent Carholme after Rob Parker's legacy?
The Labour party have announced that City of Lincoln Councillor Neil Murray will be their candidate to replace former Lincolnshire County Councillor Rob Parker, who stepped down after 35 years in politics last week.
Robert Parker, a stalwart of the Labour movement in Lincoln, had dedicated 35 years of his life to representing Carholme. His time on the council included a tenure as the leader of Lincolnshire County Council between 1993 and 1997.
