A Commission on Appointments committee on Tuesday deferred the deliberations on the ad interim appointment of Hans Leo Cacdac as secretary of the Department of Migrant Workers .It was SAGIP Party-List Representative Rodante Marcoleta who moved to suspend the deliberations for "lack of material time" as he wanted to discuss further some concerns about Cacdac's appointment.
A conflict of interest stemming from Cacdac's alleged ownership of dummy agencies was one of the issues brought up by Ferdinand Delos Reyes, one of those who opposed the appointment.Cacdac denied the allegation.
