MANILA, Philippines — Three North Luzon airports have sustained partial damage due to the effects of Typhoon Egay , which continues to traverse the region.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines reported that flight operations at Laoag International Airport had been halted due to inclement weather. The agency added that the airport would temporarily transfer its domestic pre-departure area to a different location after sustaining partial damage to its ceiling and doors.
Meanwhile, no damage was reported in Baguio Airport, Rosales Airport, and San Fernando Tower Facility.
