Fans have long demanded the revival of the Spira - with many longingly recalling the bar's design, which allowed them to be employed in a very specific way when consumed along with hot drinks.
Cadbury's has responded to calls for a relaunch of one of its most popular chocolate bars. The chocolate maker triggered renewed demand for the return of the Spira earlier this year when it announced the revival of Top Deck bars. Apparently the result of a new production process that allowed chocolate to be produced in different shapes and textures without the need for moulds, it was introduced in 1989.
It needs skill but it can only be achieved with the Spira.' Reader Janette said: 'I'd just love to see a Cadbury's Spira back on the shelves.
