The Caddo Lake trailer and release date have dropped for Max's upcoming mystery movie starring Dylan O'Brien.
“When an eight-year-old girl mysteriously vanishes, a series of past deaths and disappearances start to link together, forever altering a broken family’s history,” reads the film’s official synopsis.Caddo Lake is scheduled to make its debut on Thursday, October 10, exclusively on Max. The film will be led by, Eliza Scanlen , Diana Hopper , Caroline Falk , and Sam Hennings , with Eric Lange and Lauren Ambrose .
It is written and directed by Celine Held and Logan George, who shot the film in late 2021 and 2022 in and around Karnak, Texas. They were inspired to create the film after coming across a photograph of the real Caddo Lake online, which led them to visit the cypress forest many times. The film is produced by Ashwin Rajan, Kara Durrett and Josh Godfrey. Executive producers are Kimberly Steward, Harrison Huffman, and Will Greenfield.
