CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: Mayor Rolando Uy declared a state of emergency here after the Cagayan de Oro Bulk Water Inc. cut its water supply, affecting about 800,000 people early Tuesday morning.Uy signed Executive Order 196-2024 dated May 1, 2024 declaring Cagayan de Oro City under a state of emergency and ordered the activation of its Incident Management Team to make sure that water supply in the city continues.
